Mr Bartholin has more than 12 years of experience in the international fund management industry (alternative and long only multi-manager funds, at HDF Finance) and, earlier, about 25 years in large, first-tier international banks, in Europe, USA and North Africa (Citibank, Bank of America and Barclays Capital). He was the AIMA representative in France from 2009 to 2012 and a member of the board of the French asset management association (« AFG ») from 2007 to 2012. As an independent director, Mr Bartholin contributes diversified expertise to a limited number of fund boards (or fund management company boards) keen to reinforce their governance and thus their attractiveness to institutional investors. His main areas of expertise are due diligence, financial and operational risk management, regulatory and non-regulatory compliance, operational processes, distribution and governance. He is a graduate of the Lycee Henri IV and of ESSEC and also holds an MBA from Columbia University. Mr Bartholin is based in Paris.
